It's come to my attention that some folks on this board are unsure about whether it's okay to start a new topic.
I understand that the board may give some folks the impression that new topic starting is somewhat exclusive -- mostly because almost every new topic is started by me. This is the case only because I want there to be new discussions on the board every day, so there's always something fresh to talk about.
However, this does not mean that there's any restriction. In fact, we'd love it if more people started new discussions more often. So please, EVERYONE and ANYONE is welcome to start a new topic. We especially need them in the Writing Forums, but we could certainly use some more variety in here, not just my review, opener and cover topics all the time.
So, please, you're never stepping on any toes in starting a new topic, in fact, you're doing me a huge favor. And remember, any new topic you start this month is eligible for entry in our New Topic Contest:
