We see them in print, and we see then on film. What do you think of stories told from the viewpoints of multiple characters? When does it work? When doesn't it work? Do you prefer to get the viewpoint of many, or would you rather see the story through the eyes of one? _________________ Violet "Violanthe" Kane

I do like first-person narratives, but there can be a problem if that character is only telling you what they want you to know. Multi-character viewpoints are rare, since the writer has to be good enough to have created numerous unique personalities so that the reader has no problem differentiating between them.
I don't know if they're rare, because I see them a lot, especially in fantasy, but maybe done well they are rare. I don't know that first person is that common either, but rather third person limited. I've gotten some flak from agents for writing first person narration. _________________ Violet "Violanthe" Kane
