I compiled a list of scienve fiction movies that already have votes in the Ten Top list, and added a few of my own. Maybe it'll make it easier for people to vote. Copy and Paste the list to a clipboard, remove what you haven't seen, add what you have seen that's missing, and then narrow it down to ten.

Arg, I can't get logged in, so can't edit the first paragraph above. I didn't mean to post it primarily as a posting aid, but was trying to start some conversation about good and bad science fiction movies in general.

Did you love any of the above?
Hate any?
What makes you love or hate a sci fi movie?
What are you a snob about, and what are you willing to gloss over?

Many Many good movies on the list. The only one I saw right off that I didn't really like was "Waterworld" and I never saw "Vanilla Sky". I am not a big "Terminator" fan but I have seen the movies.

As most of you know I am crazy about Douglas Adams therefore Hitchhikers Guide is far and away my favorite. But I also enjoy the Men in Black movies very much. In fact, there's a rumor there is going to be a third one!!

Alicia, did you register your username here? The forum allows you to post without being registered, which is what you've done. But since this isn't an ezboard, you need to register seperately if you want to be able to edit your posts.

Thanks for compiling the list. It's a great picture of the voting so far, and hopefully helpful for getting people thinking. One of the biggest problems in the voting in the past is that certain important items get left out, simply because no one thought to vote for them.

So, my question is, what important movies - based on Alicia's list - HAVEN'T been mentioned in the Top Ten voting, yet?
