Starting today, Friday June 6th, we are officially launching our first, New Topic Contest. In effort to spur interesting discussions here on ARWZ, we are issuing a challenge to all our members.
From now until noon, board time, on June 30th we challenge you to post your best and most interesting topics in any of our three main discussion forums (Alternative Reality Fiction, ARWZ Cafe, and/or Writers' Forum). There is no limit to the number of topics you can post, but the winner of the contest will be for the most successful topic, not the most topics, so make sure the topics you post have some punch!
Here's how it works.
1) Post a new topic (or two or three or more) in any of the three top forums (AR Fiction, ARWZ Cafe or Writers).
2) Post a link to each eligible new topic in reply to our Contest Sign-in Thread. To be eligible, the topic must have been posted between June 16th and June 30th.
3) The topic that garners the most discussion, i.e. the most replies, by June 30th at noon, board time, will be deemed the winner.
What do you win? The topic starter will win a Custom Title and ARWZ-hosted avatar of his/her choice. This means you find and pick out your avatar, and ARWZ will host it on our server.
You may start as many New Topics to enter in this contest as you wish. You may reply to your own topics, but ONLY in reply to someone else. That is, you may not post two replies in a row, or a reply for no other purpose than to bump your topic.
