Are there certain books, movies, DVD's that you'll pay for in full retail price, just to have them or see them at the first moment they are available? Are there others you'd only touch if they were in the bargain bin. _________________ Violet "Violanthe" Kane

I tend to pay full price for books. Simply because if I think I'd like to read it I pick it up right away. If I'm not sure I really want to read it I'll think about it for a while. If i find I can't stand the curiosity any more I'll buy it at full price. If I find I can live without it I probably won't buy it even if the price drops.
Let us not underestimate the Bargain Bin. I've found more than my fair share of books in the bargain section that I've never seen in the full price stacks.
And of the books I paid full price for that then turned up in cheap sections, they haven't been reduced until quite some time after I've read them. _________________ Harker: ...I sometimes write stories.

Harker: Thank you.
Coroner: Stories in general--not yours.

I never buy books. It's terrible to say, but I just don't have the extra money to spend on something I'll likely read once, then put on the shelf to get dusty.
