Alamosa's not big enough to have public transportation. I think we have about three taxis or so for people who stay at the hotels and stuff, but other than that we either walk or drive our own cars there.
But in answer to your question, I took a car to the neighbouring town today for some 'girl time' w/my mom. _________________ Cottleston, Cottleston, Cottleston pie,

Most of my travel is by auto too...it has been almost 2 years since I took a train to Philadephia which was a fun 6 hour ride...but so much better than driving |

I get the bus everyday to the nearest large town where i am employed in local government. Yesterday i went to Glasgow by train to look for a birthday present of course while i was their i visited the coffee sellers, wine merchant and the bookshop as well. I also went to The Gap clothing store and laughed out loud at this seasons fashions for men. In 8 weeks time i will be getting a plane to Prague for a citybreak, i am looking forward to that immensly |

At home, I have a car. Here, I usually take the bus or the train. This week I'va taken the bus to the Brisbane CBD. |

No, the CBD is the Central Business District, basically the downtown. It's also referred to as The City. That's Brisbane proper. Everything else is a suburb managed by Brisbane City Council. I live and work in West End then my lab is relocating to a different suburb. Then I will have to take the train and bus every day. Yuck! |

Public transport doesn't function when you live in a small village so you have to rely on your own car
