So, a few of you have noticed that as the board gets more active, it also gets more spammers. And not the "Check out my new webpage" type, but the "Buy Viagra" and "Watch some porn" type.
Some of the porn posts, especially, are rather graphic. I delete a lot of these posts myself, but I can't be on the board all the time to catch them when they come up.
The solution I've come up with is this: I've given a handful of the most active and long-term members here at ARWZ moderator powers in the three top forums, as well as access to a private "Pending Posts" forum. If you are one of these moderators and you see a spam message, please move the message into the "Pending Posts" forum. This will preserve the IP address of the poster so that I can ban the IP, but it will also get potentially offensive content off the main boards and out of site.
