I have to agree with Doug. Specifically, I love hiking. I'm lucky to have numerous choices of sea shore, lake shore, mountains, woods, and even rainforest to chose from. |

I'm with pecooper. I have essentially the same sort of things I can go to, even if our rainforest is much different to that of the Pacific NW. |

I love to swim in a non-public beach and read books outside in the sun. |

How's about a hot autumn? It's 29 degrees as I write this. (That's 84 in American lingo).
@Mervi, you want non-public beaches? There's a bunch where I am - some are CO beaches (membership only), others are just part of a deserted coastline. I used to do photography along some of them (Broadwater Nat'l Park, et al) and I'd never see another soul for days.
With 25,760 kilometres of coastline in Australia, it's to be expected that you'd be totally alone at least somewhere along it.
You're a Finn; you should take advantage of the working holiday visa and get yourself over here for a year.
Here's a nice big picture of a beach at Broadwater Nat'l Park. |

Can anyone say Slip N' Slide!?
Actually, I haven't done that in many years. But it was fun!
Now I like to sit and watch the urban wildlife. But I spend most of my time reading or working.
I must admit I'm not much of a beach person. I like swimming in the ocean but once I'm finished that I don't see much point in sticking around. |

I like to eat out, many restaurants have tables and chairs on the pavements in summer.

Lovely! Don't tempt me or I might do it. I hate, hate, hate the cold here. |

Even going shopping to the supermarket is much nicer for me if the weather is warm and fine. |

I has become so cold overnight, autumn has definitely arrived in Austria.

Walking, hiking, and miniature golf.
My daughter likes to ice skate in the summer. It's nice and cool in the rink, and there's almost nobody there. She and my wife go some times to the local rink. I don't ice skate; I have terribly weak ankles. _________________ "I'm going to do what the warriors of old did. I'm going to recite poetry!"
